Military Rates
Basic Pay, Drill Pay and housing allowances are all valuable aspects of your military income. While base pay and drill pay are taxed, your Basic Housing Allowance (BAH) is not taxable by the federal government; in effect, BAH represents tax-free supplemental military income to support off-base housing.
